Permanent, Part-time (8:45 – 13:15) Teaching Assistant (Level 2) - LKS2

The Governors of Our Lady, Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School would like to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and experienced Teaching Assistant to become part of our successful and hard-working team. The role will initially provide support in LKS2. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and able to work 1:1 and with small groups, as directed by the class teacher. The role may involve supporting a child with medical needs, as required/needed.
The applicant must be an outstanding practitioner who is:
· Adaptable and able to work on their own initiative
· Appropriately qualified and have relevant skills and experience in working with children with needs and learning difficulties.
· Committed to working in partnership with colleagues, other professionals and families
· Have the ability to promote, enhance and actively support our Catholic Ethos
· Passionate about inclusion for all pupils
