We currently have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our school and work alongside a strong team of enthusiastic and supportive colleagues. The Governors seek to appoint a Caretaker as soon as possible, with the highest expectations and standards for maintaining the school site. A minimum of 18 hours is required for this post but additional hours may be considered for the right candidate. 

Under the direction of the Headteacher you will have a flexible approach to providing an effective Caretaking service, including responsibility for security, cleaning, upkeep of the grounds and minor maintenance tasks. You may be required to be accommodating when meetings or events are held in school. Experience in gardening and/or building maintenance would be advantageous. 

This post is full-year with paid bank holidays and a holiday allowance that can be taken during school holidays. 

For 18 hours (part-time) we would require the following working hours:

Wednesday 2 pm - 6:30 pm

Thursday 7 am - 10 am then 2 pm - 6:30 pm
