Our Team:
Our Policy, Performance and Customer Care Team are responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality services by developing policies, monitoring performance, and managing customer feedback, including complaints and enquiries.
The team works collaboratively, bringing together Service Development Officers, Performance and Improvement Officers, Customer Care Support, Safeguarding Support and Administration Support. We are dedicated to ensuring care is effective, compliant and continuously improving, making a positive difference for local residents.
The team are based primarily within Runcorn Town Hall but there is flexibility to work on a hybrid/agile basis.

Your Contributions:
As an Administration Officer within the Policy, Performance and Customer Care Team, you will play a vital and varied role in supporting colleagues across the directorate to ensure the smooth day-to-day delivery of services for our residents.
Some of the main responsibilities of the role include:
• Providing varied administrative support across the service, including data entry, word processing, filing, and general office tasks
• Assisting with financial and operational processes, such as placing orders, goods receipting, and maintaining up-to-date records
• Organising and support internal, external, and multi-agency meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-ups
• Responding to service-specific enquiries, assessing urgency, and ensuring appropriate action is taken
• Supporting audits and inspections, helping to prepare documentation and maintain accurate records
Previous administrative experience, particularly minute taking and the use of computerised systems, is essential for this position.
