Place Partnership Project Support Officer
Fixed Term Until 31st March 2028
About the Role
This is a pivotal role at the heart of the new externally funded Place Partnership work with Sport England. It will provide day-to-day operational coordination for the Sefton Place Partnership Development Award, ensuring activities are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with Sport England’s investment principles. The role will support the Strategic Lead in driving the programme forward, coordinating partners, managing delivery plans and ensuring effective integration of community insight into programme development.
You will also provide ad-hoc support to Communities department in line with the work. This role requires someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, can anticipate needs and an organised approach to managing different priorities.
The key responsibilities include:
- Accurate recording of data, meetings and action trackers.
- The ability to prioritise tasks effectively and efficiently
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Point of contact for external and internal partners
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office package including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
This role suits someone who is passionate about communities being physically active and what we can do to support them, committed to maintaining high standards, and confident working both independently and collaboratively to support the Place Partnership develop.
