Place Partnership Strategic Lead

About the Role
This is a pivotal role at the heart of our communities, as the Place Partnership work continues to develop you will play a critical role in leading the movement and connecting with partners.
You will also be Sefton’s representation and key person liaising with Merseyside Sports Partnership and Sport England to deliver the priorities outlined as part of the Place Partnership work.
The key responsibilities include:
- Lead on the development of strategies for embedding systems leadership and collaborative community development, to positively influence system transformation around active lives.
- To promote innovative policy development and best practice in active lives, systems leadership and collaborative working based on significant knowledge, skills and expertise informed by national and international research and practice.
- Present keynote speeches, presentations and workshops locally, regionally, nationally to promote the work of the project and share learning.
- To lead on the development, promotion and embedding of fair and inclusive practice within the project approach, to ensure all stakeholders in Sefton listen, learn and embed the learning from diverse voices, perspectives and experiences.
- Embed evaluation and learning in all parts of the work.
This role suits someone who is passionate about the positive impact physical activity has in addressing health inequalities and improving lives for Sefton residents. You will be committed to maintaining high standards, and confident working both independently and collaboratively across Sefton and the wider Liverpool City Region.
