Transformation Senior Project Manager
About the role
As a Senior Project Manager in the Corporate Transformation Delivery Team, you will play a key role in leading the delivery of complex transformation projects and strengthening how we deliver change across the organisation. You’ll help turn ambition into action, supporting the delivery of the Council’s Transformation Plan and Corporate Plan.
This role offers the opportunity to work on some of the Council’s most important and high-impact programmes. You’ll work across services, helping to shape solutions, drive delivery and ensure improvements are embedded and sustainable. Alongside this, you’ll support and guide colleagues, helping to build consistency, confidence and capability in how projects are delivered.
You’ll work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation, from early discovery and design through to implementation and benefits realisation. You’ll also play a key role in connecting work across the transformation portfolio, bringing together insight, delivery and communication through storytelling to demonstrate the impact of change.
If you enjoy variety, collaboration and working at pace to make a difference, this role offers the opportunity to take on meaningful challenges and contribute to a wide range of corporate priorities. You’ll bring curiosity, strong delivery focus and a collaborative approach, and in return you’ll be part of a supportive, ambitious team that values learning, continuous improvement and doing the right thing.
Please see Appendix A (page 10) in the recruitment pack for a full copy of the Job Description and Person Specification.
Interviews will be held on either 30th April 1st May or 6th May and will be face to face.
This vacancy may close sooner than the stated deadline if we receive sufficient applications.
