Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service? Do you have the skills and experience to manage a wide range of customer enquiries effectively? Do you enjoy working in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment?
If so, you may be the perfect candidate for this role.
We are looking to recruit highly motivated and customer‑focused individuals to join our busy and demanding Customer Services Team. You will be part of a dedicated team responsible for managing customer interactions, and providing high‑quality support and advice, with a focus on resolving enquiries at the first point of contact and maximising customer satisfaction.
As the first point of contact, you will handle a variety of varied and complex enquiries from customers via telephone, live chat and face‑to‑face communication, supporting up to 21 different Council services, including Revenues and Benefits.
You will have previous experience of delivering excellent customer service, with strong communication and IT skills, and the ability to deal courteously and sensitively with a wide range of customer enquiries.
At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working. For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part-time. There is a requirement for you to attend your work base at least 2 day’s per week. However during the training period, you will be office based full time.
