Our Team:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Halton Borough Councils Public Health Team as a Commissioning Manager. This is an interesting and diverse role, leading the commissioning and management of local public health services. You will join an established public health team with a wide range of expertise and support. No two days will be the same as you monitor and develop services, working collaboratively with partners and most importantly seeking feedback from the community of Halton to shape services that meet local need. It’s an exciting time to work for Halton Borough Council as we develop our local integrated offer through programs such as the family hubs and this role is central in providing system leadership and integrating local services.
The post is part time 28 hours per week on a 12 month temporary contract based in Runcorn Town Hall, hybrid working (depending on service demands). Working pattern negotiable.

You will be keen to use evidence to inform practice, be an experienced commissioner, having performance managed health or public health contracts and have a drive for continuous improvement.
