Freshfield Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and principled Class Teacher to
join our highly inclusive, high-performing school community. We welcome applications from

ABOUT FRESHFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL
Freshfield Primary School is a highly inclusive, outward-facing school in the heart of Formby. Alongside our mainstream provision, we are proud to operate a specialist SEND Resource Unit — two integrated
communities that strengthen and inform each other every day. Our ethos is shaped by five core values:

THE ROLE
The successful candidate will be appointed to a class teacher position within either our mainstream provision or our specialist SEND Resource Unit. The placement will be confirmed at the point of appointment, informed by both the needs of the school and the experience and strengths of the successful candidate.

We are open to applications from newly qualified and early-career teachers, experienced practitioners from mainstream settings, and those with specialist SEND experience. What is non-negotiable is a genuine commitment to our children, our values, and our culture of professional excellence.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL DEMONSTRATE

• High professional standards and a reflective, evidence-informed approach to teaching
• A willingness to engage with and develop the use of educational technology in the classroom
• An understanding of, or strong commitment to developing knowledge of, inclusive practice and SEND
• Ambition for continued professional development and a desire to contribute to a forward-thinking school
