This role offers the opportunity to join a well‑established statutory Housing Solutions service in Knowsley. The service is committed to ensuring that individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness receive appropriate, tailored support.
The postholder will carry out statutory investigations under the Housing Act 1996, ensuring the Council meets its legal obligations. Responsibilities include assessing and determining applications, keeping customers informed throughout the process, issuing written decisions, and completing homelessness assessments in accordance with Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996, relevant case law, and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working. For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part-time. There is a requirement for you to attend your work base at 4 day’s per week following a 3 month period from recruitment date.
