About the Role
Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented professional with a passion for operational excellence? The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is seeking a Technical Administrations Officer to join our dynamic Customer and Operations Directorate.
As a Technical Administrations Officer, you will play a pivotal role in administering business service operations, supporting effective planning, performance, financial control and service delivery. You’ll deliver advanced procedural support to a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring the smooth administration, evaluation and monitoring of priority projects and specialist operational activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to new initiatives and uphold high corporate standards in a fast-paced environment
Key responsabilities will include:
- - Providing advanced procedural and technical support across operational deliverables, including auditing pass allocations and coordinating health checks.
- - Assisting in financial oversight, including payment processing, reporting and year-end account closure.
- - Supporting performance and risk coordination, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and producing operational performance reports.
- - Coordinating meetings, working groups and briefing sessions, recording and progressing actions.
- - Maintaining and supporting the SharePoint document management system and contributing to testing new system designs, including AI integration.
- - Upholding all LCRCA policies and representing the Combined Authority professionally at meetings and events.
About the person
We are looking for a proactive and organised administrator with experience supporting business operations, including meeting coordination, diary management, minute-taking and financial administration.
You will have strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (including Excel), and experience using systems such as SharePoint, Visio and cloud-based applications. You will be able to analyse and present information effectively, manage competing priorities, and work independently while building positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
