Due to further expansion of Newfield School with new site opening in Litherland (ex Hatton Hill infants site) September 2026; we are seeking to appoint two experienced level 4 teaching assistant with a focus on whole school interventions.  The positions will be at Newfield Thornton site and Birkdale/Litherland (split over two sites). Positions will start in September 2026

Newfield school supports pupils across the local authority with special educational needs; all pupils have a diagnosis of SEMH.  Experience of working in this school environment would be an advantage, along with experience of delivering ELSA training and literacy/reading interventions.

Successful candidates will be joining a highly supportive and succesful school which will have three sites by September 2026. The successful candidate for Birkdale will have days split between Birkdale and Litherland sites.

Closing date is at 12.00 o'clock on Wednesday 17th of June
