EYFS Teacher - Nursery
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the enthusiastic and dedicated team at Netherton Moss Primary School.
The Governors and Headteacher warmly invite applications for the post of part time main scale teacher working as part of our Early Years Unit from September 2026. We are seeking to appoint someone who is energetic, talented and ambitious and who can inspire, challenge, motivate and support both children and colleagues. You must be a friendly, polite, committed person who is well organised and dedicated to our inclusive culture and ethos.
Based mainly with our Nursery age group the hours match our Nursery opening days (Mon-Wed) but there will be some opportunities to teach in Reception as part of the wider EYFS provision. This job contract is temporary for one academic year in the first instance.

- Believes that you can make a difference to the outcomes for children
- Can inspire and motivate children, making learning meaningful and enjoyable
- Has high expectations of learning, behaviour and care for all children.
- Enjoys teaching and demonstrates the ability to create a stimulating learning environment for children and a determination to make learning fun and relevant
- Has a secure understanding of developing an EYFS curriculum and effective assessment
- Has excellent communication skills at all levels, is a team player and has a desire to raise standards
- Is committed to the whole school community and is prepared to be actively involved in the extra-curricular provision of the school
