This is a busy section undertaking a number of statutory functions and managing an increasing number of permit requests from all stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with experience in the streetworks environment who can monitor works by statutory undertakers and third-party contractors, ensuring compliance with the SROH and associated codes of practice.
The key responsibilities include:
- Working with all members of the team to minimise highway disruption.

- Checking permit conditions.
- Attending site meetings for traffic management.
- Sending Fixed Penalty Notices (FPN’s)
- Responding to enquiries from Councillors and members of the public.
