Business Support Assistant x 2

Post 1 – Licencing Team - 21.6 hours per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) - Fixed Term until 31/03/2027

This is an excellent opportunity to join our busy Licensing team, providing essential administrative and customer service support. You will be working closely with a team of Licensing Officers and Assistants based at Stretton Way Depot.

Key Responsibilities 

▸Processing and updating taxi drivers’ information.

▸Maintaining and updating system data. 

▸Contacting drivers regarding applications and any queries

▸Providing reception cover, handling general enquiries. 

▸Issuing licence plates and badges. 

▸Processing card payments 

Post 2 – Legal Team - 20 hours per week (Monday, Thursday and Friday) - Permanent 

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a professional Legal team. You will be working closely with a team of Solicitors and Legal Assistants and our Records Management Team working across two sites across Huyton. 

Key Responsibilities 

▸Arranging sealing and signing of legal documents 

▸Carrying out finance duties e.g. ordering of goods/services and invoice checking

▸Preparation of court bundles 

▸Updating and maintaining confidential information.

▸Maintaining and updating system data. 

▸Scanning, indexing and uploading client files 

▸Managing incoming and outgoing post 

Due to the confidential nature of the work, you will be expected to handle sensitive information appropriately and in line with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and work accurately under pressure. Strong IT and administrative skills are essential, along with a positive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
