Introducing ourselves:

English Martyrs Catholic Primary School is a larger than average primary school with 460 pupils currently on roll (including Nursery), situated in Litherland, south Sefton.  

Job Requirements:

To start September 2026.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Supervisor who is enthusiastic and totally committed to maintaining the high standards already established and becoming part of a very hardworking team.  The successful candidate would be required to supervise pupils during the lunch period, in the dining hall, playground areas and school premises, ensuring their safety, welfare, physical and mental well-being and the maintenace of good order and discipline.  The position also involves some cleaning duties i.e wiping tables and clearing spillages.

The successful candidate will be:

Committed to promoting and ensuring good behaviour and a calm atmosphere, confident dealing with any misbehaviour that may occur in accordance with the school's behaviour policy, able to address issues calmly and politely and in doing so be a positive role model to the children.  Committed to working in partnership with colleagues, other professionals and families.
