Construction & Compliance Support Officer

The role supports the delivery of statutory compliance across the Council’s property portfolio, ensuring all required inspections, testing, and remedial works are completed on time and in line with legislation.

It involves maintaining systems and records to track compliance activities, managing certification and documentation, and identifying and addressing non-compliance issues. The post holder coordinates remedial works, liaises with contractors and stakeholders, and ensures accurate data management and reporting.

The role also supports communication between teams, contractors, and service users, contributes to tender and site documentation, and assists with general administrative and helpdesk functions to ensure the smooth running of the compliance service.

The closing date for this vacancy is Friday 31st July 2026 (or earlier in the event of high volume of applications being received).

Provisional interview dates are Thursday 20th August 2026.
