Organisational Development (OD) Officer
This is an exciting time to join Halton Borough Council as we continue our improvement journey and seek to transform the Council through a structured change programme. We have the opening for the right person to join our passionate team.
This role is a great opportunity to support and deliver improvements across our workforce. If you are interested in developing your career, are a highly motivated professional and keen to maximise your potential, then we would love to hear from you. You will be joining an established and supportive team, working within the HR and Corporate Affairs Service.
No day is ever the same and our main aim is to develop and deliver innovative learning experiences that promotes contemporary approaches and solutions.
This role is for 32 hours per week, working pattern to be agreed, based at DCBL Stadium in Widnes with hybrid working available.
Your Contributions:
You will be professionally qualified at degree level (or equivalent). You will have a passion for learning with strong training and facilitation skills gained through your experience of developing and delivering training. You will have experience and/or a passion for learning within a large and diverse organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cutting-edge OD strategies to optimise workforce performance and productivity.
- Design and deliver innovative training programs that empower employees to reach their potential.
- Collaborate with diverse teams to foster a cohesive and inclusive work environment.
- Champion change initiatives and support managers and employees adapt to emerging trends.
