About the Role

The Combined Authority (CA) is entering an exciting period of change and growth, and we are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Finance Apprentice to join the finance service. This is a great opportunity to help make a difference in the delivery of key public services within the Liverpool City Region.

You will be responsible for supporting various areas of the Finance Team with a focus in the Systems, AI & Transformation team. The role will be varied and will offer excellent ‘on the job training’, we will also support your finance training to achieve a finance qualification. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the important work we do while also developing your talents for the next stage in your career.

 

About the person

The successful candidate will be looking to take their first steps in a career in finance and will be keen to learn through a mixture of ‘on the job’ and formal academic training. You will have effective written and verbal communication skills as well as an ability to work accurately with an attention to detail.  You will need to be confident in the use of IT and able to work both on your own and as part of a team.

We are looking for a keen and proactive individual with a desire to learn whilst delivering a high quality and customer focused finance service.
