Taxi Licensing Officer
2x Permanent roles
Opportunities have become available within Customer Services, and we are seeking to recruit Taxi Licensing Officers to work from Bootle One Stop Shop in Stanley Road Bootle, occasionally in other sites across the borough and from home.
The successful candidate will work as part of a wider team of customer service staff offering face-to-face advice to taxi licensing customers. They will play a key role in providing the customers with a high-quality customer service experience. Are you passionate in providing excellent customer service? Do you work well independently and as part of a team?
This role will primarily be responsible for:
- Interviewing customers face to face
- The processing of all taxi licensing applications
- Ensuring all appropriate evidence checks are completed
- Updating and maintaining the main taxi licensing core databases
Do you have strong customer service experience and are you comfortable and confident with managing a demanding and varied workload?
Most of our enquiries are from existing taxi drivers and new taxi drivers who are required to be licensed in a timely manner, therefore an ability to understand and communicate complex messages is essential. Full training will be given to successful candidates who display the customer service qualities we are seeking.
If your application is successful Interviews will take place at Bootle One Stop Shop and we are looking to appoint with a start date as soon as possible.
Closing Date - Tuesday 3rd August
Provisional Interview Date - Week commencing Monday 10th August
Please note we reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive a high volume of applicants.
