Our Team:
This exciting role will provide support and assistance to several Directors within the Chief Executives Directorate by acting as the first point to which contact with the Directors is made. Support will be provided mainly to the Interim Director of HR and Corporate Affairs and Interim Director of Transformation, but also to the Director of Finance (Section 151) Director of ICT and Director of Legal and Democratic services as required.
The role will provide confidential secretarial and administrative support, organise the Directors diaries and ensures that effective liaison is maintained between the Directors, Councillors, employees, MPs, members of the public and external agencies at all levels.
37 hours per week
Your Contributions:
- To provide a comprehensive and confidential secretarial service including word processing of letters, reports, minutes, memoranda, to be produced from written work or dictation.
- To manage and organise the Directors diaries, in computer or manual format as required.
- To take minutes at internal and external meetings as required involving people at all levels.
- Anticipate the Directors needs and forward planning.
