Business Support Hub Officer X3

About the Role

The people behind great leadership are rarely the people in the spotlight.

As a Business Support Hub Officer, you'll help Directors and senior leaders stay organised, informed and focused on what matters most. One moment you might be coordinating a major meeting, the next resolving a diary challenge, preparing key information or ensuring important actions don't lose momentum.

You will be part of a modern Business Support Hub that provides professional support across the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. Your work will help leaders make decisions, deliver priorities and drive positive outcomes for communities across the city region.

Simply put, you'll be the person who helps things happen

About the person

You don't need to know everything, but you do need to be someone people can rely on.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being organised, stays calm when priorities change and takes pride in delivering a high-quality service. You'll be confident communicating with a wide range of people, building positive relationships and managing competing demands without losing sight of the detail.

You'll be comfortable using Microsoft 365 tools such as Copilot, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint, but just as importantly, you'll enjoy solving problems, finding better ways of working and seeing tasks through to completion.

If you're the type of person who notices what needs doing and gets on with it, you'll fit right in.

2) Coordinating meetings, diaries and administrative activities

Describe an example where you organised meetings, managed diaries or coordinated activities involving multiple people. Tell us about the challenges you faced, how you approached them and what the outcome was.

3) Communication, relationships and use of Microsoft 365

Share an example that demonstrates your communication skills, ability to build positive working relationships and experience of using Microsoft 365 tools such as Outlook, Teams and SharePoint to support effective ways of working.
