HR Business Partner - Pay & Grading

As part of the Job Evaluation team, you will undertake job analysis of new and existing roles across Council departments and schools, applying the Council's job evaluation scheme to determine appropriate grading outcomes. Working closely with managers, colleagues and Trade Union representatives, you will provide advice and guidance throughout the process, ensuring evaluations are carried out consistently, fairly and in line with agreed methodology. This is a varied role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.

These new roles have been created in response to growing demand for HR services, driven by a range of new organisational initiatives, transformational change programmes, and our continued commitment to delivering a proactive, strategic HR service across the Council.

Joining our team offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment, supporting leaders and managers to deliver positive outcomes for our workforce and the communities we serve.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can successfully manage competing priorities. If you are a self-motivated individual with a solution-focused mindset, a collaborative approach, and a passion for driving positive organisational change, we would love to hear from you.
