1 to 1 SEND Teaching Assistant

Introducing ourselves:

English Martyrs Catholic Primary School is a larger than average primary school with 460 pupils currently on roll (including Nursery), situated in Litherland, south Sefton.  

Job Requirements:

The Governors are seeking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic and totally committed to maintaining the high standards already established in school and becoming part of a very hardworking team. 

The successful candidate will show patience and understanding while working under the direction of teaching and/or senior staff, enabling access to learning for all pupils.

You will provide specific support to pupils dependent upon their individual needs ensuring their safety whilst supporting access to learning activities and promoting inclusion.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. The appointment will be subject to pre-employment checks, including satisfactory Enhanced Level DBS clearance.
