About the Role

Working alongside class teachers and our specialised Resource Unit provisions (Haven, Hive, Horizon, and Hub), your core mission will be to ensure children with SEND achieve, feel they belong, and stay successfully within mainstream education wherever appropriate.

To support your professional growth, administrative and statutory duties will be introduced gradually throughout your first year. While the exact split will be agreed locally, the indicative breakdown once fully established includes:

35% SENCO Administration, Leadership & Statutory Duties (eases in during Year 1)
-
25% Specialist Teaching
-
20% Intervention (in The Bridge)

-
Built-in Coaching & Family Support Work (integrated throughout)
