Teaching Assistant (Level 2)
The Governors at St Mary's are looking to appoint a part time Level 2 1:1 teaching assistant from 1/9/24 until 31/8/25. This is temporary for 12 months in the first instance. You will also be required to do the welfare role each day. The job will be Monday to Friday 8.45am to 3:15pm at 27.5hrs a week.
The successful candidate will undertake a wide-ranging role with main support being for a child with autism in either KS1 or KS2 as well as with groups of children and supporting the work of staff.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to visit the school website to learn more about St Mary's Catholic Primary. Candidates can view the school on Wednesday 5th June at either 9:30am, 12:30pm or 4pm but this is not compulsary and will not affect selection.
The position may be suitable for a newly qualified teacher not wanting to take up a teaching post, but looking to gain further experience.
