Commissioning and Contract Manager
We are looking for a talented manager to join our contract and commissioning team. This is an exciting opportunity, and if you are an enthusiastic and initiative-taking person who is keen to be part of transforming contract and commissioning systems and processes this is the role for you.
As the successful candidate you will be commissioning high quality, person centred, value for money services and performance managing and evaluating a diverse range of contracts ensuring objectives, priorities and quality standards are met by providers. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new commissioning systems and processes and to help shape new ways of working in partnership with service providers.
You will have:
- experience of commissioning and contract management
- ability to prepare, analyse and present management information to inform the evaluation and monitoring of outcomes and impacts
- experience of preparing and presenting detailed commissioning and contract performance reports to highlight any delivery risks
- an understanding of best value and experience of price negotiations
- experience of working collaboratively with a range of different stakeholders
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- a flexible approach
The reason the post is for 12- months is because we are reviewing our commissioning model with the view to designing a new service delivery approach. This post is additional to existing posts in the current structure.
