Our Children Centre & Family Hub are bustling & exciting places to work, we provide services and support to children aged 0-5 years and their families. Every day is different but high standards and the quality of services provided by our team is consistent.
The Children Centre Receptionist is an integral part of the Children Centre team. If you enjoy a role that involves working with Children & their families and a wide range of partners this will be the position for you.
You will be the welcoming face of the centre, greeting families and children, ensuring they are registered with the centre and provide them with information appropriate to their needs. You will be taking telephone calls, relaying messages, and responding to enquiries.
You will ensure the safety of Families & visitors by operating efficient entry systems.
You will be supporting the whole team with a wide range of administration tasks, collating, and recording data & information as required.
You will have great organisation skills, be able to manage a variety of tasks and prioritise by urgent & importance.
You will be able to use your IT Skills to provide information in a range of formats including Word, Excel, Publisher and have a good knowledge of how to effectively use Social Media to promote our services.
You’re outgoing and friendly personality will ensure you are able to communicate professionally with families, children and our partner agencies.
The post is 25hours per week, Monday – Friday between the hours 8.00am-6.00pm. You will be required to work across different sites.
