If so, maybe this role is for you working alongside our Parks and Greenspaces Team.
We are looking for someone to work closely with colleagues within Liverpool City Council and a range of external stakeholders to oversee the delivery of grassroots sports and allotment provision citywide. With practical experience of engaging stakeholders and the ability to work on your own or as part of a team you will directly contribute towards the city’s goal of providing accessible and good quality spaces for its residents. Working as part of Parks and Greenspaces this is both an exciting and challenging opportunity to development citywide opportunities.
The successful candidate will
- Oversee and manage sports bookings for Liverpool Parks, Greenspaces and be the key contact for Liverpool’s Statutory Allotments
- Be the first point of contact for stakeholders seeking to develop sporting opportunities in our greenspaces
- Work proactively with partners including the Sports England; The Football Foundation and others to develop Liverpool’s sporting offer
- Work proactively with Parks and Greenspaces Officers and our grounds maintenance contractors to ensure our greenspaces are well managed
This role will operate citywide and involve working from a number of locations from one central base. Agile working will be supported where practical.
You will be working alongside the experienced Manager for Parks and Green Spaces and report directly to them and the Parks Operations Lead Officer.
