In order to enhance the excellent provision at Waterloo Primary School we are seeking a 1:1 Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our school.

15 hours per week 1:1 TA2 - Afternoons (Grade D) Fixed term until 31st July 2024. 

Your task will be to supervise an individual child under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff, inclusive of physical and general care and basic classroom management techniques.

The role will be to support a pupil to access the curriculum working closely with teaching staff to remove any barriers to learning.

Good numeracy, literacy and IT skills are essential. The successful candidate will be skillful in working with young people and experience of Early Years is desireable. Patience, creativity, initiative and desire to learn are essential qualities for this post. The diverse role of the TA requires enthusiasm, commitment, flexibility and ambition for young people.
