Health Trainer ( Children & Young People)
Do you have a passion for enabling children to get off to the best start in life? Halton Public Health Team is looking to recruit a Health Trainer to work with children and families to deliver a range of programmes and workshops.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Start Well Team. The role will involve delivering sessions in schools, online and in the community; such as Family Hubs and youth groups. Our programmes are aimed at children and young people, parents and carers, as well as professionals, such as teachers.
You should have experience of working with children and families, and be confident facilitating workshops to a range of audiences on a variety of topics around health and well-being; with groups and on a one-to-one basis.
You will be joining a passionate team delivering an established service that is continually developing and growing to meets the needs of children and families in Halton. You must be able to demonstrate the necessary skills, enthusiasm and commitment in order to provide the best possible support to children and families. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to support and motivate individuals in a person-centred, solution-focussed manner.
