Environmental Enforcement Officer x3

The primary function of the Council’s Environmental Health service is to protect the public, the environment and groups such as consumers, businesses and workers.  The Service carries out the main enforcement responsibilities of the Council and delivers a wide range of statutory functions. 

The post holder will help deliver an intervention programme, which tackles environmental crime issues at problem sites and locations across the borough, including fly tipping, littering and waste compliance.

Candidates should have recent experience of working within an Environmental Health or Environmental Enforcement role, and/or a relevant qualification.
