Reablement Assistant (Granby Hub, Full Time, 35 Hours Per Week)
About the Role
Liverpool City Council are looking to recruit a Reablement Assistant for Granby Hub which is a vibrant 24-hour facility.
We are currently recruiting to a 35-hour post . All positions within Liverpool City Council are considered to be city wide. This post is based at Granby Intermediate Care Hub, but there may be times when you are required to work at another hub to provide safe staffing levels across the service.
The role will require you to be part of a team of staff working flexibly over 7 days. Contractual hours are between 07:30 and 22:00, shifts comprise of a mix of early and late shifts, and occasional long days where required. As this is a seven-day service, weekend and bank holidays are included in your working week. Shift and Weekend Enhancement Allowances are paid for these shifts. As this role is part time the salary will be pro-rated accordingly.

We are looking for an energetic, experienced, person to join our team of Reablement Assistants. We need someone who can provide hands on care with both daily living skills, and individual exercise programs. We want to ensure service users reach their reablement potential and return home wherever possible. You should be able to follow individual care plans, risk assessments, and ensure records are kept up to date. Good communication skills are essential. The role can be physically demanding, but suitable training is offered to promote safe working practices.
You must demonstrate an awareness of relevant CQC legislation and safeguarding of adults. Both of which are essential to our service. Following agreed guidelines is crucial, but you should also demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, Person Centred Care.
