Administration Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Widnes Locality and Drug & Alcohol Youth Support teams. We are looking for an Administration Officer who enjoys working in a varied and busy environment within Halton’s Family Hubs. You will be based in a team supporting frontline practitioners who work in the community with local families.  Your previous admin office experience should be complemented by an understanding of how to safely support the day to day running of an outreach team and be sensitive to the challenges faced by some of the most vulnerable young people and families of our community.

You must have experience of note taking, data inputting, record keeping, booking events & services, ordering supplies, petty cash management, organising meetings and be confident in being the first port of call to members of the public contacting our team(s) by telephone or in person. Some Reception cover will also be required. IT experience is essential as is working to deadlines.

Applications are particularly welcome from those familiar with the data system NDTMS. Confidentiality and an understanding of safeguarding and data protection are key aspects of the role.

Ideally, you will be educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) including Maths and English and feel comfortable both to work independently and as a proactive member of the team. The role includes being co located in a multi-agency setting and working alongside multi -agency partners and colleagues.
