Knowsley is a small and welcoming local authority which enables us to be creative and responsive to the needs of our residents.

In Adult Social Care, our approach is focused on early intervention and prevention, support to maintain and regain independence, active promotion of personalisation, choice and control and placing wellbeing at the centre of everything we do.

Knowsley Adult Social Care want to invest in you, supporting and developing you at every stage of your career.

Knowsley has just launched its revised Adult Social Care Transformation Strategy and as a Service Transformation Lead, you will be key in turning this strategy into action.  You will be part of the wider Transformation and Reform Team that leads the development and implementation of a range of critical service transformation and redesign initiatives across Adult Social Care.

You will work with officers at all levels, our partners, and our providers to drive forward and deliver key projects to ensure we meet our transformation outcomes and objectives. Alongside this you will also be responsible for coordinating our workforce development plans and our approach to inspection readiness.

We promote applications from all sections of the community, regardless of background, belief, or identity, recognising the value that diversity brings to our organisation. We particularly welcome applications from individuals from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds and candidates with disabilities as we acknowledge their underrepresentation in our workforce.

At Knowsley Council we will consider requests for flexible working.  For most roles, the following types of flexibility are usually possible: flexible hours, working from home, compressed hours, part-time.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy earlier than the specified date should we receive sufficient applicants.
