About the Role:

We are looking to appoint two Business Change Analysts. One on a permanent basis and one on a fixed term basis for 22 months, to join our Organisational Design Team. The role involves being collaborative, innovative, and leading helpful conversations to support colleagues across the organisation.

You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills and confidence in providing advice and guidance is essential, and experience with leading groups, training sessions or workshops would be desirable.

You will work with a great team within Organisational Design. The team includes colleagues from Organisational Development, Learning & Development, Inclusion, and Recruitment. The team operates flexibly within the spirit of the Council's hybrid working policy, optimising our opportunity to ensure we work in an agile way.

About the candidate:

Have you ever shared best practice at a meeting? Benchmarked another local authority to see what they are doing? Worked with senior managers to identify their requirements for service delivery? Designed the solution to a problem? Do you enjoy contributing to change?

If so, we are looking for colleagues with your experience and talent to inspire and influence others to be creative to achieve the best outcomes for the organisation. You will support the Council’s Strategic Change Programme by delivering high-quality business analysis, advice, and you will (via the use of design methodology) influence change and achieve key priorities for the council. You should have proven experience of advising on service improvement and re-design. A proven understanding of working with business change would be desirable, however full support will be provided to develop the right candidate. Our vision is to build solutions alongside teams, to improve services for our residents, businesses, partners, and colleagues across Wirral.

You will be responsible for creating opportunities for innovation by providing design support and guidance.
