Quality Assurance Officer
Halton Borough Council is offering an exciting opportunity as a Quality Assurance officer in our established Local Authority Quality Assurance Team. This is a permanent full time (37 hour) position with the benefit of flexibility of working hours and agile working arrangements. This means working in a Council office as well as having the opportunity to work from home.
As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will provide a supportive approach in the monitoring and delivery of service improvements where CQC ratings or other concerns indicate it to be a priority.
You will be an enthusiastic, dynamic team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who is fully committed to working collaboratively as part of an inter-agency team across health and social care. You will need to enjoy working in a busy and fast paced environment with competing priorities.
We are looking for someone with experience of quality improvement or contract management within a health or adult social care environment and with relevant health/ social care experience with adults/or older people. A detailed understanding of Health and Social Care legislation and regulations, experience of safeguarding processes, multi-agency working and working as part of a team are also essential. Candidates must have good IT skills and the ability to converse at ease with people and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post. In addition, you must hold a full driving license and be able to work flexibly.
In addition to the salary, you will receive a minimum of 26 annual leave per annum raising to 31 after 5 years’ service and an essential car user allowance. With reimbursement for any work related costs of toll fees when using the Mersey Gateway Bridge and access to comprehensive training to enable continuous development.
