Clerical Officer
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clerical Officer to contribute to the successful delivery of Children’s Services, by providing administrative support to the wider team.
You will be working in a busy and dynamic Child in Need Service as part of Halton’s Children’s Social Care workforce, providing vital administrative support to social work teams, and assisting children and families open to social care.
You will be part of a team of administrative and clerical officers and will share responsibilities and tasks amongst the team.
The team is based at Rutland House which is conveniently located within Runcorn Shopping City and has free parking and excellent public transport links.
What are we looking for?
- You will have previous experience of working in an administrative role, with good IT skills, and a familiarity with Microsoft Office Packages such as Word and Excel.
- You will be an organised person with the ability to condifently manage differing tasks and priorities.
- You will have excellent communication skills, particularly via telephone.
- You will be aware of GDPR when dealing with confidential and sensitive information about children and families.
