Customer Assistant - Leisure (Part Time, 20 Hours Per Week)

About the Role

These posts are fixed term for two years as the service is in the process of a community asset transfer (CAT) of two sites and reopening a new site.

Lifestyles Fitness centres operate eight sites across the city consisting of swimming pools, fitness studios, sports halls and various outdoor facilities.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who will be dedicated to delivering the highest standards of service to our valued customers.

For the role of Customer Assistant, applicants must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, must be flexible towards working hours and have a keen interest in the leisure industry. Main responsibilities of the post will be to provide information to facility users, take bookings and payments for activities and reconcile all monies at the end of their shift.

Experience of cash handling and working in a customer facing environment will be seen as an advantage.

Evening and weekend work is an essential part of the post. As these are part time roles, the salary will be pro rata to reflect this.
