Role Overview

We currently have vacancies in our Young Person’s Team for Experienced Social Workers.

Our Young Persons Team (YPT) is a dynamic and dedicated team committed to supporting young people in our community. They work tirelessly to empower and advocate for our young people, creating a safe and nurturing environment where they can thrive.  The team work with young people as they enter adulthood, working closely with colleagues from partner agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for them.

The post is based in a service where the management team is supportive, with experienced, knowledgeable staff who know our young people well and who are committed to getting the best for the young people they support.

Requirements

  • Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
  • Right to work within the UK – unfortunately at this time we cannot provide working visas or sponsorship for oversees workers.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures.
  • An ability to engage effectively with young people, families, and colleagues.
  • Empathy and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on young lives.
