Library Assistant

Knowsley Library Service has branches in Huyton, Kirkby, Halewood, Prescot and Stockbridge Village. The service lends books and resources to customers, supports them with access to computers and information, and provides activities for young people and adults.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated team player to apply for the role of Library Assistant with Knowsley Library Service.

You will have proven experience of working in a modern public library service or similar environment. The successful applicant will be required to sustain our current high levels of customer satisfaction and be able to demonstrate the capacity to contribute to the development of the service to maximise its potential. 

Experience of working with and providing activities for adults and children in a supportive environment is essential.

You must have experience of helping customers to use digital resources and an excellent knowledge of books and reading.
