Lead Teacher ASC (Autistic Spectrum) Base 

Teacher, Full Time. Required from September 2024. (Temporary in the first instance for 12 months with view to becoming permanent)

Salary: MPR / UPR plus TLR payment

Introducing ourselves:

Hudson School and Family Wellbeing Centre, Moorhey Road, Maghull, L31 5LE. 

Hudson is based in Maghull, Merseyside and we provide education for approximately 300 children from ages 3-11 years, from a range of backgrounds and a range of needs.

We take great pride in our true community school as it successfully provides a secure and nurturing resource for vulnerable children and families. We are privileged to offer our Family Wellbeing Centre facilities,  Nursery provision and furthermore our specialise resourced autism base to those within our reach with an ASC diagnosis.

Job requirements:

Our ASC base caters for children with Autism.  We provide quality education for children with educational needs and are looking for a focused and skilled teacher to provide a high standard of learning for these pupils.

Applications are welcome for this nurturing community school from inspirational, innovative, creative teachers who are able to motivate children and who have a love of learning. 

The perfect applicant will be able to

1) demonstrate SEN experience 

2) evidence consistently high standards of learning and teaching with a complex SEN cohort through innovative and challenging teaching

3) knowledgeably and skilfully ensure that children make good progress and are able to overcome barriers to learning.

4) clearly show strong commitment to your own development and also have the desire to go that extra mile in enriching the life of the school and playing your part as a member of our community

In return we will support the successful applicant in completing their SENCO qualification with us if the role is made permanent.
