Knowsley Children Social Care is seeking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated Social Workers to join a dynamic local authority which is seeking to transform the way that services are delivered.
This is an opportunity to work within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub with a range of partner agencies who are dedicated to making timely decisions at the correct level of intervention.
It is an exciting time to join children social care with friendly, experienced, and supportive colleagues who are dedicated to providing a service that puts children and families at the centre of our work.
Applicants will need to be experienced in working with children and families via assessment, Child in Need and Child Protection remits. Applicants will preferably have previous MASH experience. You will be required to complete screenings of referrals to consider what actions need to be taken to safeguard children, considering multiagency information.
Applicants will need to be social work qualified and professionally registered as a social worker with Social Work England. Substantial experience of child protection is required, and applicants will preferably have previous MASH experience.
You will be provided with regular supervision and access to an excellent training programme. Knowsley Council invests in their staff, this is an opportunity to join a local authority who will support your development.
