Teaching Assistant
Rowan Park School is an outstanding Special School, which supports the learning and development of children and young people aged 3-19 years. The school has three sites; Rowan Park School for pupils aged 3-19 years with severe and complex learning difficulties, Rowan High School for pupils aged 11-19 years with a diagnosis of Autism and The Rowan Tree for Reception and Year 1 pupils’ who have a diagnosis of autism and learning difficulties. All appointees may be placed at any one of the three school sites and may be subject to change annually. This will be dependent on the needs of the Schools and their pupils.
The Governors are looking to appoint a number of Teaching Assistants for the Schools.
The hours are 32.50 per week and are worked as follows: Monday and Wednesday – 8.45 a.m. to 16.30 p.m., Tuesdays – 8.45 a.m. to 16.00 p.m. and Thursday and Friday – 8.45 a.m. to 15.30 p.m. (32.50 hours per week) (45 minute unpaid lunch break)
