Casual Telehealth Care Response Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Telehealth Care Team. The Telecare Team play a leading role in supporting vulnerable people to remain in their own homes with the use of technology and support.
The Telehealth Care team are a multi functional team who are responsible for assessing and installing a range of telecare equipment across the borough. We offer an emergency responsive service to our service users and also have a responsibility for the councils call handling duties out of office hours.
We are looking for motivated, responsible people with a caring attitude who also possess a good knowledge of Microsoft applications to join this team. You will promote, install, explain functionalities and follow processes which lead to the Installation of the assessed Telecare equipment.
Personal care tasks also form part of the duties in emergency situations. You will be required to keep comprehensive electronic records, and will advise service users and their families/carers about the range of service options available.
You will also undertake reviews of the service with service users and their families/carers. You will communicate the benefits of Telecare to other professionals and to the wider public.

The Council has reviewed the way it engages with casual workers by entering into a new arrangement to form a company called Connect2Halton. Connect2Halton is a 50/50 publicly owned joint venture between Halton Borough Council & Commercial Services Group (a company wholly owned by Kent County Council). Please note, from 2nd September, the Council will manage the deployment of casual workers through Connect2Halton.
