The role:

  • As Business Support Team Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the management of all Business support staff, systems and planning in support of the Fostering, Permanence and Leaving Care Service
  • You will be responsible for the management and authorisation of financial systems, cash/invoicing for Permanence, Leaving Care services
  • You will co-ordinate the provision of panels for Fostering as well as Special Guardianship panels
  • You will manage the ordering of all equipment and ICT for all social work teams in Permanence, Fostering and Leaving Care
  • As Business Support Team Manager, you will be responsible for all recruitment and all HR related processes including disciplinary or grievance matters for Business Support
  • You will be accountable for effective supervision, training and development of all Business Support staff in your service areas
  • You will drive forward practice improvement and ensure consistent high quality service delivery across the team
