Ideally you would have some experience and/or knowledge of adults with learning disabilities and autism. We have the following vacancies to extend and enhance the current social work team which started its work in June 2024.

“Are you passionate about supporting young people with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum conditions aged 14-25 to experience a smooth transition into adulthood? Do you want to join Sefton Council’s new transition team, based within Sefton’s new LD and Autism social work team?

As a qualified social worker, you will contribute to the operational delivery of an effective Adult Social Care service as part of a team responsible for promoting the welfare of and continuously improving outcomes for individuals.
