About the person

If you have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the employment, skills and health agendas and are experienced in developing policy and strategy this could be the role for you. We want someone with the ability to shape future policy thinking locally and nationally, and who can work proactively, building strong relationships with stakeholders and our constituent authorities to deliver better outcomes across the city region.

We are looking for someone who can deliver high quality, technical policy input, providing strategic expertise and guidance to our Executive Leadership Team, informing corporate planning and investment decisions. You will be politically aware with the ability to work at pace and have a track record of operating in a complex policy environment.
