The role:

  • We are looking to recruit a Pest Control Officer on a permanent basis
  • The successful candidate will assist with the identification and treatment of pests in domestic and commercial premises. They will identify infestation, assess the extent of infestation and treat accordingly. This will include the preparation and laying of pesticides on site i.e. baits, poisons, traps, ensure disposal of vermin and any follow-up treatment
  • The role also involves undertaking rodent control in the sewers and drainage system. This will include routine baiting of drainage systems and rodenticide treatments on a regular basis and liaison with other service areas as and when necessary
  • We are inviting applications from candidates who have a Royal Society of Health certificate in Pest Control or BPCA Diploma, as well as a full driving licence
