Operations Manager

Operations Manager – Netherton Activity Centre.

36 hours per week – fixed contract for 14 Months.

An opportunity has arisen within Sefton Council for an Operations Manager to be based at Netherton Activity Centre to provide the day-to-day management function at the centre in an effective, economic, efficient, and safe manner, ensuring that the service standards and operations standard are achieved.

You will be required to manage the centre with regard to relevant policies and procedures of the Council.  The post involves the supervision of staff and be able to maintain good staff discipline to ensure that staff carry out their duties to a high professional standard. Other requirements of the role are as follows:  Excellent customer care skills, Maturity and calmness under pressure, a good telephone manner. You will also undertake administrative, clerical, statistical and daily financial routines.

This Post will involve evening and week-end work, which will be integrated into the operational rota.

This position requires an enhanced DBS check.
